Black wattle is great for really long cooks and it has a very dense structure and a long burn time.
It is a rich and smoky wood, a great all rounder especially good with beef.
Black Wattle is an Australian Native Acacia. Ours is sourced very close to Natural Smoke HQ. Chunks are best used in mid-sized smokers and BBQs, such as kettle BBQs, bullet smokers and kamado-style cookers.
Where possible, we source our wood from pesticide-free orchards. Therefore there may be some evidence of insect damage on some of our wood.
