Aussie Oak is a very dense wood and smokes for a long time. It smells almost like popcorn or roasted nuts when burning and is one of the most versatile smoking woods.
Chunks are best used in mid-sized smokers and BBQs, such as kettle BBQs, bullet smokers and Kamado style cookers.
Where possible, we source our wood from pesticide free orchards, therefore there may be some evidence of insect damage on some of our wood
